
Steve Meddings is a USATF certified track and cross-country coach. He was an All-State runner during high school. Coach Steve received a scholarship to run cross-country for Davis & Elkins College. While in college, he was 4 time All Conference, 3 time Conference Champion, 3 time Runner of the Year, 4 time National Qualifier, and Collegiate Athlete of the Year. He is also the coach of Pacers Junior Olympic cross-country/track program, where he has coached athletes to the Regional and National level competitions. Coach Steve was also named USATF Three Rivers Coach of the Year for the 2016 Cross Country season.

Damon Rhodes has been affiliated with the Pacers Track Club since 2012 and has been an active coach since 2014. He is the proud father of three former Pacers . . . Emily, Lydia, and Meredith. Lydia and Meredith currently run at Upper St. Clair High School. Damon also ran track in high school a long time ago at Mt. Lebanon High School and is the current Three Rivers Association Masters Champion in the 400 meter event.

Tiffany Willetts has always enjoyed distance running. She began running cross country in middle school, which then continued into high school (Carrick). Her running career progressed into college where she was captain of the women’s cross country team at Bethany College. During her career at Bethany, she was a four-time All-PAC selection. Tiffany is a 2004 graduate of Bethany College and later earned her master’s degree from Robert Morris University in 2009. She currently resides in Bethel Park with her husband TJ and their two daughters, Verona (a current Pacer) and Corsica.

Michael Chauvet began his life-long love for distance running in 1988 when he joined what was then known as the Peters Township Pacers in elementary school. During his youth, he found success in the mile (sub 4:30), 2 mile (sub 10:00) and 5K distances (sub 16:00) as team captain of the Canon-McMillan Cross Country and Track teams. Michael is a 2001 graduate of Robert Morris University and currently lives in Peters Township with his wife Erica and his two daughters, Alyse and Jocelyn, who are second-generation Pacer athletes.

Michael Uhl is a Mechanical Engineer who came to running as an adult. Starting in his 30s, Michael began running with a couch to 5k plan and has since run a number 5K’s, 10K’s, and half-marathons. He lives with his family in Bethel Park. His son and daughter have run with Pacers since 2016.

Rie Lauver is a teacher in the West Jefferson Hills School District who came to running later in life. As a youth athlete, Rie enjoyed sports, but did not enjoy the running aspect of them. This all changed when she signed her oldest son up for his first race (Jr. Great Race) and she quickly became his running buddy. Her children have quickly outpaced her, but Rie still enjoys being active and helping new runners discover a love for the sport. Rie lives in Jefferson Hills with her husband, Eric, and her two sons, Alex and Aaron who have been Pacers for years.
